[linux-dvb] Nebula dvb-t PCI problems

Hello,

I have Nebula dvb-t PCI card, and while doing example "./tzap Mtv3", I
get following:

tuning to 682000000 Hz
video pid 0x0131, audio pid 0x0231
status 03 | signal 0000 | snr 0000 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 |
status 03 | signal 0000 | snr 0000 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 |
status 1f | signal 0000 | snr 0000 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 |
FE_HAS_LOCK
status 1f | signal 0000 | snr 0000 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 |
FE_HAS_LOCK

So, no signal information. Is this normal with Nebula card? I can see
the picture. Also "femon" plugin in vdr have problems in showing those
signal and other diagnostic values.

Another "problem" is that "./dvbscan dvb-t/fi-Lahti" finds channels, but
when it's trying other frequencies it complains:

.>>> tune to:
.>>> 682000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_AUTO:QAM_64:
TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_8:HIERARCHY_NONE
WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!

I have figured out that hauppauge cards have not these problems, is it
normal with nebula?

Also I think that card freezes my computer sometimes, when signal goes
bad and vdr is running. I'm running FC2 and kernel 2.6.8.1, same problem
was with 2.6.6 and 2.6.7 kernels. Motherboard is i865G based and
processor p4 2,4GHz.

Has anyone got Nebula remote control unit working in linux?

Yours, Joonas aunola
