The alps_tdmb7 is a frontend driver. The tda9887 is an analogue tuner driver 
(comes in the video4linux snapshots from bytesex.org). If you have either of 
those modules loaded as well as the cx22702 one, they will erroneously be 
detected first - or at least that was what happened to me. 

My guess is its the tdmb7 frontend since you report it claims the cards has 
two frontends (and I assume that is not the case).
