Hello there,
I am currently using a DVB-s Card from Hauppauge (WinTV Nova-CI) equiped with a Common Interface (plugged a Cryptoworks Module into the CI). The problem is that the common interface is seperated on another Bord, connected via a cable to the DVB-s card. There are lots of budget cards which have the Common Interface onboard (e.g. TwinhanDTV Sat-CI), but the problem is that they are not supported by Linux to use their Common Interface. It would be great if somebody knows an alternative to Hauppauge WinTV Nova-CI or Nexus-s cards, where the Common Interface (CI) is onboard and the card is with its Ci could be used under Linux. Thanx in advance Thomas M. Lustig |
