I use the av7110 IR remote as a keyboard, as it is the easiest way to configure it. The following patch makes the key-repeat work more like a real keyboard, making it possible to actually have a single button press. I'm not sure if thiis is the direction the driver is going in, or whether it is meantto be used with lirc, however I'll leave the patch out tere for whoever wants it.
