satcodx has a better list, mostly because it has the footprint beside each
transponder:

You'll see anything hitting NZ is almost without exception vertical. (The
only exceptions I've never been able to tune actually, only the ones
listed a vertical will lock.)

Yes, I've been looking closely at what the win32 software is doing, but it
seems to report 12.456 and Vertical, and the LNB is configured as a simple
one with just hi/low.

Ah, I think I've found a working set of options. Just -p h will result in
a stream with TS continuity errors. But -tone 1 seems to resolve it, I've
been able to dump from that for a few minutes without any errors. It's
still puzzling how it's definately in both cases giving me the same
channels, but only works in the later.

Thanks for your help, I should have spotted the -tone option before.
Hopefully now I can make MythTV do the Right Thing. :)
