Hmm, time to go back to the original VES1820.C and make your own
modifications this time. At least you now have a "reference" to what will
work. And you can make your code a bit closer to the spec that Ralph's
seems to be...

Do attachments show up in the mailinglist archive on linuxtv? If they do,
you should ask the administrator to remove the code bits you posted.
Otherwise, it'll only have gone to the people who were subscribed to the
mailinglist at the time.
