Ok, it is a USB 2.0 device, nice:
 bcdUSB 2.00

Is it possible to open the case and make some high-res pictures or to
write down the chip labels, without damaging it? If so, please do it. :)

It seems that the control of the demod etc. is done via the control
endpoint (0x00).

The next step for you could be the reverse engineering. This is sometimes
quite easy with http://benoit.papillault.free.fr/usbsnoop/. For me it
wasn't working (dibusb). Please create some logs with it and make it
available online (do _not_ post it to this list, put it on a website or
send it privately to me, I would then publish it).

Additionally you could try to get information from b2c2. But going the
reverse-engineering way is sometimes faster and the effect of learning is
higher. Of course completing the driver with specs is the happy end.

If we know the chips and see some logs it is easier to support you in
writing a driver. I suppose they used a well-known (maybe already
written) demod for this device(s).

Good luck,
Patrick,
