[linux-dvb] Re: Troubles with DVB-C
First, about the coax cable and the wiring :
I have a brand new cable with shield.
The official decoder (the one I received from my cable operator) is plugged
behind the VDRBox.
Everything is OK on this decoder. So it's not a cable trouble...

OK, I'll use multiplex and services
So I have 21 multiplex with :
- 54 services (radio)
- 157 services (TV)
- a lot of data services

Too bad

For the services on the 3 "bad" multipexes, I always have :
DVB: VES1820(0): AFC (-4) 26855Hz
Except one time, I had the following line :
DVB: VES1820(0): [AFC (-3) 20141Hz]

Well when I suscribed to the cable digital package, I received :
- DVB-C receiver (built by sagem)
- Viaccess card
I opened the decoder to find out the frontend is a ves1820 too
So I have :
The "official decoder" to watch TV
The "VDRBox" which acts as a digital VCR
Cheers
