Okay, did find one problem with the driver, though.  After encoding about
5 minutes' worth of video, the file pretty much stopped growing.  I killed
the "cat /dev/video0 > ..." operation and restarted it.  Then the file
started growing way too fast.

Once I unloaded and reloaded the driver with "loaded=1", everything was
fine again.

Any ideas?  I haven't dug through the code enough yet to know what to look
for...
