FYI: Gerd Knorr has improved the firmware loading of the
yet-work-in-progress wintv pvr driver, so that it loads the firmware
from /usr/video4linux/, instead of linking it in. It should be easy to
backport to the normal kfir driver, and is more in line with GPL and
firmware legal issues.

The latest release is at http://bytesex.org/snapshot/ in
pvr-20030605.tar.gz.
