Hey, come on...
Your first try to integrate mplayer is very good, I'll wait all the time
for improvements like you did with the mp3-extension.
So, please go on to develop complete mplayer integration into vdr. IMHO
its handling is like your mp3-extension. A file browser to get the right
films and the ability to mount/umount devices like cdrom/nfs/etc..
Your try is just the beginning of a whole multiplayer in everyone's
livingroom ;) BTW all improvements and developments of all programmers
on the vdr-project are very great and absolutely usefull!
So, keep the earth turning and improve the abilities of vdr.
I'll enjoy the features of my 'little' box every day and some of my
collegues want to build their own vdrs, as soon as they can watch all
their films... ;) They're waiting for such a solution!!
The s.v.p.-Project in the german c't magazine sounds nice, but it's that
lousy grap of s**t windoze software and licensing problem - we all want
vdr to be able to play all kind of media type (avi, mpeg1, mpeg2, asf,
divx, mpeg4, and so on...).
