[vdr] Mplayer can only play in foreground process

Hello list,

just a quick asking for confirmation:

My mplayer script is only working if the calling process (vdr)
is running in a foreground process. No playback will take place if the
parent process is running in background.

As soon as it is turned to foreground again  (by eg. an "fg"),
playing starts at once.

Is this only my problem ?
(I tried with the sample mplayer.sh and some
modifications to play divx4-files and to do a "-quiet", but no success
yet...)

If someone else has a working configuratition, could you mail me your
mplayer.sh ?
