I think, now I know what the problem is ...
One of my HDD's does not respond after too few traffic was on it.
Because every process that accesses these HDD goes DEAD.
Ich have no idea why that happens, but that is the point, why vdr
is not responding any more.
I tried a bit around and I think that when i sitch to 32 bit transfere
(with hdparm) it does not happen any more, but i'm not so sure about that.

Does anybody have similar problems ??
