[vdr] black recordings

Pardon if this a known/fixed issue.

Recently i have a "black" timer recording.

Select on recording menu
screen becomes black
after a few seconds im back to life stream.

Next day (saturday) i have another "black" recording.

Now i invoked the disc status command in command.conf:
0% free

Uups...

Hm, but why?

There were VERY old recordings (more than 4 weeks), why were those
not deleted? (my "default" time is 13 days, is there a calculation problem
over month?)
But: If VDR founds no "old" recordings to delete I assumed
that VDR would start to delete the oldest depending on priority?
(Except prio is 0 or 99)
Or is the prio value only used if two files are exactly of the same date?

So I deleted a lot of stuff manually.
Only a few memory became free (1,4GB), but sufficient to record.
But VDR did not resume recording the still running timer.
If have to stop it and to restart it.

Why are not all manually files deleted immediately?
(I know that there a one minute delay)

Why does a timer not resume recording if the disc becomes free?

It would have been nice, if VDR would have warned somewere
in OSD that less than 500MB are currently free..
(a Status line in "recordings" display?
For exsample:
If no recording is selected the free space is shown in Minutes
If a recording is selected, the length and actual play position is schown.
)

It would have been nice if VDR had rejected "replaying" the
zero sized recording with and error message. (but: timeshift?).

VDR 0.98.
