[vdr] Nova Problems/MS6215

Some time ago i reported problems with WinTV NOVA to the list.
("cpu too fast", "mpg3 not supported": massive data errors. )



"Solution":

The nova card was returned to the distributor,
an other nova was not working flawlessly too.
He acknowlegdes the defect after 6(!) weeks...
dealer gave my money back! (wow!)
Meanwhile i bought a WinTV DVB-s 1.5 as second card.
No problems any more :-)



Second problem:
===============

nvram-wakeup did not work always in MS-6215: 
Box hangs often in BIOS-Selftest

This was caused by a broken WinTV DVB-s 2.1 which sometimes
fails if not powered up from zero voltage. Lukily it
could be proofed that the card always fails after the
first real power on (mains power plugged out) of ca. 1h...
(It was "this" special board. Another 2.1 ran and runs flawlessly.)
That broken card is still at the distributor,
who can't deliver an replacement since weeks (promised Feb. 24...) ;-(
...

Do they have quality problems?






So i may assume:

In a(my) MS-6215 (i815-Chipset) the currently delivered "NOVA" ("Budget")
is not working flawlessly. (pixel artefacts and data error)

Or:
A broken DVB-s 2.1 may interfere with a Nova.
