[vdr] Timer seconds offset?

Is there a way to "adjust" timer stop/starts by seconds?

For example (2 card system)

"Official Start - Stop time"
20:15 - 21:00 A
20:15 - 21:00 B
21:00 - 21:45 C

Is there a way to make it "actually happen"

20:14:50 - 20:59:49 A
20:14:50 - 20:59:49 B
20:59:50 - 21:44:49 C

Of cause i can say now:
20:14 - 21:00 A
20:14 - 21:00 B
20:59 - 21:46 C

But that's very complicate for the user to
program the "wrong" time (it is shown in the replay too!)
and it is not his problem to give the right "margins"
to solve a hardware problem ;-)

You see too(main problem): The recording "C" will really record
the first frame at at 21:00:10 because the first card became free
at that clock and, AFAIK VDR waits/needs some sec to tune and to get
EPG before actually starting.

"Me, simple user" want to "record Startek at 2100" ;-)
If it is required the recorder may start at 2055 on his own,
(automagically marking (later) the programmed start time...)

We had this item sometime ago, IIRC Klaus made a 1sec
offset.
But now i ask to make the "10sec offset" user definable.
To 0, 10, 20, 30 maybe 40 50sec

20:14:50 - 20:59:50 A
20:14:50 - 20:59:50 B
20:59:50 - 21:44:50 C

So there is no unnesscary "1sec gap"

For each timer or once for all.

I know that there are channels were 5 minutes margins
would not be suffcient ;-) and which clocks are
random number generators,
but too, there are channels where 10sec or 20sec margin will do perfectly.

This offset would avoid recording the senseless trailer,
but missing the start of the next record...

Any tips?
