do you have the OSD information, when you press ok or you change the
channel, just before the sdate-time, or not? It has been reported that
there is this problem, perhaps I didn't report all the changes (I should
really make a diff for all this!)

what do you exactly mean with 'selectable'? To be made selectable in a
menu' if it has to be written or not?

and yes, it would be quite easy to print the channel too, what would you
think it'd be good: only the number or also the name etc?

ja, I don't really know why I didn't put this value too, perhaps I'm
used with the normale satellite receivers that give only the first two
values. But this system is much better!

probably it is, but I have two humax 5400 receivers(*) and whenever you
change channel there appear a little column with an indicator of the
signal strength. It's not too intrusive, but meaningful. This little
modification I've made it's only to begin my little work, and much of
the time was due to understand vdr's internals. I'd like to prepare
something with a sort of indication bar for the ok menu (perhaps in the
bottom, and 'selectable' (!?) in a configuration menu') and a real menu'
entry to show a whole page of tech datas, both with the numeric value
and the 'scroll bar' indication, updated 'realtime'. Then a feature to
scan all the channels and write down a report with the values, and now
stop with the imagination...

(*) although I consider vdr a far superior system than the most perfect
traditional satellite receiver, I think there are many little things
that should be so nice to 'port'...
