it should be sufficient to remove the AC3 PID from channels.conf, e.g.

Pro-7:12480:v:0:27500:255:256;257:32:0:898
                              ^^^
would become

Pro-7:12480:v:0:27500:255:256:32:0:898

(see FORMATS for more details)

Or just go into the channel setup menu and remuve DPID1 and DPID2
