Why not easyly share start and end times of commercials over some kind of 
filesharing network. This would been much easier and much more safer than any 
automatic process could do at the moment. So only someone had to mark the 
commercial and provide his marks.vdr file. If PC clocks are in sync this 
should not be a great problem.
