you should first check the encoder video ouput (xxx.mpa file in example)
with xine. Is it ok? Then you can check the output of mplex with xine.
If you use nero you should at least get a warning about the 48kHz audio
sample rate which is not standard for svcd. I'm using vcdimager and 
cdrdao to master and burn svcd's with success.

PS: I'm currently testing version 0.3 which uses the marks.vdr file
    of VDR directly eliminating the physical cutting process. Hope to
    release it after weekend after some more testing.
