I don't know if I understood it right, but if I have to choose between 
progress bar and subtitles I think subtitles are much more important. 
There are enough navigation functions implemented for me but subtitles 
are essential if I want to watch foreign titles because reading is much 
easier than listening. A good example for this is the movie 'Snatch' ;-)
