No. Other cards with the Siemens Chip are working also.

JAEIN.

I am runnin here a Hauppauge DVBs Rev. 1.x since about 1 year.
*This works really fine*

There are a few more recommendations to get respected.
There is quite a bunch of DVBs cards out there an not all are working.
This depends from Hardware Revision #, Firmware state ...

Mostly all manufactures are really silent, if you request the hardware especially for Linux.
