[vdr] AW: AW: AW: output on vga card?

>I have no xserver installed.
Didn't know, but installig X is no disadvantage for VDR; I have a 300PII
at the moment, with 128 mb Ram
And X and VDR run co with no Problem! Also you could use kvdr then ;-)

>If you watched a recoeding, you have to reset the dvb driver first to
watch a premiere programm (CI problem)
I read about it an tested it several times on my system, because i never
realized the problem: and I really cant reproduce the bug; by me it does
not happen! (nor with one DVB card neither with 3!!!!!!!!!!) dont know
why; Ihave no cam Problem! (Some people sy it only occours on 1 card
systems; I tested - no Problem)

>Sure, but a second DVB card costs about 250EUR, a graphic card with tv
out only about 50-100EUR.
Some days ago i got a mailing from a sat dealer, that anounced DVB cards
for 75EUR!!!
At one i wrote a email to figure out whether it is the "nova" or the
real DVB... He wrote i will get detailed Tech-Info when the crds
arrived. I will Post when they are available and what they are.
PS: maybe a second dvbs solvf your cam prob?!?

>I use the ATI Xpert@Play (3D Rage Pro 215GP), a cheat standart vga card
with 8MB ram.
How is TV out supported when you have no X ?!! Throug mplayer direct?
