[vdr] DVD gone - where ?

due external workload I may be not in sync with current actions
and efforts on vdr. ;-<<

So, let me ask a short question:
I understood Klaus dropped DVD support towards a plugin
interface. Right, good idea, I'm waiting for it, because I have a few 
ideas to be made as plugin. [Copy out of Recordings to Server, 
Copy in Recordings from media, CDR/DVD-R writings]

After 1.0.pre1 DVD playback is dropped, 
but where can I get it back ?

I have not to wait to complete plugin interface ?
