I use this function very often (my card hangs when I use the 1-minute
forward/backward function, so I can't use it). I hold on the video
(pause) and press the red button. The time that I have to enter the time
is different. Sometimes it is like you said, more than 10 seconds,
enough to press the buttons, but sometimes it is only 2-3 seconds long.

It can't be a remote control problem, irw shows only the buttons i've
really pressed (i.e. he doesn't think that an 0 is a red or the back
button)
