[vdr] how to convert a mpeg ps to vdr's mpeg pes ?

Hi list,
I try to convert some holiday movie to vdr's data files.
So I read this mailing list up and down and got some tools to
convert my avis to mpeg2, and to generate vdr's index file.
But ups, when I play the movies via vdr, I got only the sound
but no video.

Is the problem that my mpeg file are "mpeg ps" ??? and
not vdr's "mpeg pes" ??? How can I convert this ?

Who can help me ?
