I wonder if we ever find a workaround for these annoying ARM crashes.
I'm getting them all the time:

/home/cko> fgrep 'ARM crashed' /var/log/messages|tail
Apr 2 00:52:20 vdr kernel: dvb0: ARM crashed!
Apr 2 00:52:32 vdr kernel: dvb0: ARM crashed!
Apr 2 00:52:44 vdr kernel: dvb0: ARM crashed!
Apr 2 00:52:56 vdr kernel: dvb0: ARM crashed!
Apr 2 02:00:02 vdr kernel: dvb0: ARM crashed!
Apr 4 21:39:25 vdr kernel: dvb0: ARM crashed!
Apr 6 01:04:50 vdr kernel: dvb0: ARM crashed!
Apr 8 19:02:52 vdr kernel: dvb0: ARM crashed!
Apr 8 19:22:39 vdr kernel: dvb0: ARM crashed!
Apr 10 01:14:12 vdr kernel: dvb0: ARM crashed!

And from messages like the above I conclude that other people
are getting them as well.

As it is OSD-related, the driver developers do not seem to care,
so it has to be worked around in vdr.

With so many smart people on this list, somebody must have an
idea for a workaround, right?

Carsten.
