now i managed to set up a 2 card system (sigh), works without glitches and 
the LNB-sharing patch works.

Maybe i did something wrong and it does already work that way, but how about 
this procedure:

If a timer is to be recorded and polarity/band does'nt fit it switches 
polarity/band at the primaryDVB but still records at the secondary.
Of course band & polarity have to be locked then, but the user could still
replay a recording at the primary or switch to channels still available.

Did i something wrong (little experience with 2 card system) or does'nt it 
work (yet) that way?
