Well, I installed SuSE 8.0 on my VDR tonight.
lirc 0.6.5 came with SuSE 8.0, so now I have the same
problem. Instead of

00000000000060c6 00 Menu NokiaVCN620
00000000000060c6 01 Menu NokiaVCN620
00000000000060c6 02 Menu NokiaVCN620
00000000000060c6 03 Menu NokiaVCN620

I am now getting 

00000000000060c6 00 Menu NokiaVCN620
00000000000060c6 00 Menu NokiaVCN620
00000000000060c6 00 Menu NokiaVCN620
00000000000060c6 00 Menu NokiaVCN620

Matthias, have you found a solution for this (other than
downgrading to lirc 0.6.3 of course)?
