With the CVS Version of mplayer and the latest CVS Version of ffmpeg now it 
works fine for me, too.
But one Problem is left (beneath the rather slow P II 300 :-)

How do I use the use my Remote controll ? Option -lirc /etc/lircd.conf does 
not work ...
