I cannot reproduce this and I cannot find a reason for this in
the source. May be you could add some printf()'s to
cMP3Control::ShowProgress() in mp3-menu.c and 
cMP3playBuffer::GetReplayMode in mp3-dvb.c to get a clue what is
happening.

Is the line above the progress bar completely empty or is the
numbering "(1/5)" shown?
