wrong again. mplayer can replay or transcode *vdr files, but converting
into divx needs a couple of seconds.

that's wrong too, there are some excellent transcoding tools -- even open
source. i myself would like to see pvastrumento and flaskmpeg on my
linux-box. further divx-avi-files are state of the art unless you own a
dvd-recorder.

there are differences beetween rumors and information.
