[vdr] Re: Primary card for playback only

Hi Thomas, hi list,

some month ago Klaus posted a small patch (two additional lines of code) for
dvbapi.c. I use this one since then without any problems (and even without
changing ca.conf and channels.conf). I haven't tried the most recent vdr
versions, but i think one should still be able to find the right place to
apply the patch.

int cDvbApi::ProvidesCa(int Ca)
{
+  if (this == PrimaryDvbApi)
+ return 0; // in this system the primary card can't receive anything
   if (Ca == CardIndex() + 1)
      return 1; // exactly _this_ card was requested
   if (Ca && Ca <= MAXDVBAPI)
      return 0; // a specific card was requested, but not _this_ one

bye, Christian
