[vdr] where to get EPG-data from

Hello,
after some troubles my new vdr is up and running.
Unfortunately my local cable provider does not provide
EPG-info (at least not in any readable format).

I think about something like a simple script that does
download the data from somewhere, translate it into the
correct format for vdr and sends it to vdr via SVDRP. And
that all together with a cronjob to have up-to-date epg-data
in my vdr.

I already tried
http://epglive.de ... but the service is down
http://www.tvtv.de ... but they will not provide the data in
a downloadable file
http://www.tv-genial.de ... same situation

Does someone know where to get actual german EPG-data from?
Or does someone have any other solution for that problem?
