dont gen that index file, or get the latetst version of genindex.
without index file vdr will play that file but you cannot seek/cue it.

BTW: What for did you patch to AIO if you put the mpg file into a
recording dir? This would have worked without AIO. If you want "real"
(S)VCD-Playback go and burn a SVCD CD with your favourite CD-Burn app.
