nice idea, 

but i won´t put my drive in a win-box since it possibly gets infected with
windows there :I

the pioneer drive seems to be a little different regarding slow downs,
right? pioneer support once told
me, that the drive is not able to spin down (i sure is, like every drive)

but i don´t know if it´s possible to slow down from userspace
