we disccussed that problem some month ago on the list, and there
is a problem with the dvd-106. i own one, so i know what i.m talking about.

NO tool under linux will work.

you have to download cd-bremse and "patch" the dvd-rom under windows
as someone posted already. it.s the only way.

and even after that your dvd is far from silent - but it.s definetly
more silent so i would suggest using cd-bremse.....
