Probably. It's just weird that the information from the provider does not 
include this. I mean the NIT could easily state that the freq is 282750000 
instead of the 283000000 that it currently states.

This is very elegant. Should've thought about the problem a few minutes 
longer before posting ;) I fixed the problem by subtracting the 
channels.conf specified freq in VDR while doing the channel switch based 
on the QAM value (I have some QAM related stuff there of my own so it was 
a breeze to write it).

I'll write a patch and email it to Klaus with some other stuff.
