Hmm... If I replay the recordings from that particular time, they seem 
to be quite perfect... No artefacts at all, perfect sound, FF and REW 
fully functional without any problems...(?)

Strange...


BTW: You asked if someone could have a look at the "restart" problem..
     I'd try do so if you would give me a hint where to start looking ?
