[vdr] tosvcd for greenhorns

hi list,
I have big trouble with tosvcd

I am trying " tosvcd  -c2 -o mops ./  "


but after a few seconds there is only a repeating
"signal 4 catched" in the logfile.

Does anybody have had such a strange behavior, too?
I am using Mandrake 8.2 , mjpegtools-1.6.0, tosvcd-0.6

At the end of this message are the outputs from console (stdout) and
