[vdr] Re: Pro7 commercial filter idea



Hi Casandro,
as mentioned before on the list,
pro7 always sends ac3-stream, but most times "only" DD2.0 which gives no
advantage against pcm (IMO the ads have the same level as the movie, so you
don´t have to adapt it manually).
having set up my box with (at least) working digital out, it acts as
follows: tuning to pro7 will switch audio to ac3, other stations bring up
pcm... there is no way on pro7 to use pcm or the "Language/Sprache" option.
I have mentioned it to Klaus and he (maybe) will adapt a way to handle the
DPIDs like APIDs to have a option to choose between all of them in a manner
used on many STBs in the 1.1 series of vdr...
So i think your idea won´t work, sorry for that!
