BIOS reads nothing, when power is off, the BIOS is dead.
This is totally independent from BIOS, BIOS is
only used to enable/disable things in setup, like Wake-up etc..

In the beginning the system is dead, only the clockchip works...
Then the Current Time reaches Alarm Time and PWR pin of clockchip
says 'let there be light and there was light'
  - at the sametime AF-bit is set.
