[vdr] shell output to osd from within mplayer plugin just like from command.conf ?

Hi,

is there a simple way to get the stdout from a shell command, selected via 
mplayer plugin, to the OSD ? Just like it works when invoked from 
command.conf.
What i need is a way to display a text file, which i want to be able to select 
via mplayer plugin, to the OSD ! So basically i thought of adding a *.txt 
recognition to mplayer.sh - but how can i access the OSD !? 

Is there already a built in mechanism to use, which i did not find or do i 
have to build my own ?

The Main idea behind this is to store a text file containing the movie 
description to a media file and get this info via mplayer plugin !

Any suggestions !?
