I am running two Hauppauge Nexus-s (TT 2.1 cards) plus one NOVA-S (no brand, bought at satelco for 69 euro).
No problem whatsoever with vdr 1.0.4 - AIO1009 - dvb-2002-04-01 or dvb-2002-06-23-patched (color buttons, small fonts, lcdproc, vcd, mplayer, dvd, lirc, mp3, streaming enabled and working , tech enabled but always reporting snr=0 because of driver version, divx recording disabled) 
I am still testing the combination vdr 1.1.13 - dvb-2002-06-23-patched or dvb-2002-10-15-NEWSTRUCT (dvd,mp3,mplayer,lcdproc,miniaio,lirc enabled and working) , I am actually having problems recording channels with the nova-s (no problem with the two nexus-s), but I cannot reproduce the problem easily, so I'll keep testing and send another email when I find out what's causing the problem. 
I also get artifacts when timeshifting if I use only one card, when I use more than one it gets complicated understanding whether timeshifting is enabled and on which card ;-)
