Hello list,

The stream plugin allows you to stream a channel over a network. The DVB 
device (if it's a full featured one) will be able to be tuned to channels 
on the same transponder as the streamed channel. Currently a PES stream 
is unicasted to any client on the network who whishes so. That means, the 
only player who can use this stream will (currently) be mplayer (I 
guess). The stream plugin listens on a configurable port (default 2002, 
just behind SVDRP) and sends the stream to up to ten clients 
simultaneously. A test client is included in the subdir client.

Future plans are multicasting and a view mode where the stream viewer 
sees what is showed on tv (stream follows channel), and of course some
kind of client secutiry handling.
