Well, it's not like I'm really "on" there.

I did register there and looked around a little, but I'm not into
"chats" and stuff like that. Reading the two mailing lists 'linux-dvb'
and 'vdr' already takes enough of my time, so if somebody want's to
reach me it's either through these MLs or via private email. I'm not
in any chat rooms or other forums. One thing I don't like about these
is that people mostly (as far as I have seen in the past) hide behind
fake names like "/dev/null" or "bashy" (no offense to these two in
particular, they're just two that I recently came across) and tend to
write in ways that they might not do if they were using their real names.
There are sometimes rather offending things being posted that I really
don't want to read...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that chat rooms are obsolete and should
not be used. Those who like doing that should, by all means, use them.
Just don't expect to meet me there...
