But the advantage of using the IDs in "clear" form is that you can easily
handle, generate and parse them, and when you look at one you can immediately
tell the individual parameters it was made up from. With some hash value like
Hgh/6hgfjh%&44 you would always have to convert it before doing anything useful
with it. Plus the algorithms for en- and decoding the hash values would have to
be implemented by anybody who wants to work with these.

I believe "clear" IDs are better.
