[vdr] cut thread in vdr-1.0.x vs. vdr-1.1.x

since I changed from vdr-1.0.x to vdr-1.1.x (same time
as I changed from kernel 2.4.16 to 2.4.19
I have problems with doing normal things in vdr (like playing)
while a movie-cut is running in the background.
It's an 800MHz system with a very fast HD and with vdr-1.0.x
it was'nt a problem viewing *while* cutting....
with vdr-1.1.19 viewing is impossible because of dropouts and breaks while cut is 
running..
is there another thread handling and/or priority for the cutting process ???
