I don't know if Sascha Volkenandt is working on a new version, but it
would be great to have a ffserver-plugin, which sets up a feed for every
channel in channels.conf and polls the stream from VDR when the first
client connects (something like rtp or
http://[vdr-ip/name]:[port]/channelname.

The corresponding address for a channel could easily embedded into
VDRADMIN's pages.
