This sounds superb, Sascha :))) It seems to suggest that with a minimal
amount of work, anyone can 'jack in' to an existing VDR setup and view
live TV *and* recorded programmes.

The separation of the MPEG-data and a control channel is excellent.. in
this way a Win32 client could be thrown together consisting of the
Elecard DirectShow reader and a simple Visual Basic "remote control"
frontend to talk to your Server plugin.

Likewise, even an Xbox could be used as a 'TV Client' with minimal fuss.

*applause* :)))
